Toshanda (Tea) Phillips, known in the hair industry as NaturalTeaGlam, was born in Orlando, FL.

I am married to my #1 supporter, Neil Phillips, and have two children, Tyler and Brooklyn. Being a Florida native I graduated from Evans High School and attended Valencia Community College to study music. While I aspired to work on Broadway, taking a year off from college led me to cosmetology school and the rest is history.

 

In the early stages of my career, I participated in numerous hair shows and competitions. I was an educator for Strong and Silky, a hair product line. My styles have been featured in fashion shows, television, and on jazz artist Najee and renowned Gospel artist, LaRue Howard. 

 

I decided to shift my focus to natural hair about nine years ago, when my daughter was born. My desire was for her to embrace her natural beauty and be proud of her kinky, textured, chemical free coils. 

 

My specialties are cutting, coloring and styling natural hair. I am also a loctician that takes great pride in helping others start their loc journey.
